Mountainview Clinical Psychology specializes in Adult and Geriatric Neuropsychology

Dr. Kristi Husk is a Board Certified Neuropsychologist specializing in the comprehensive assessment of adults with complex neurological and psychological conditions. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
Dr. Husk is Board Certified through the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABN) and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) through the Brain Injury Association.
Dr. Husk specializes in neuropsychological assessment of adults with a variety of neurological, psychological, and age-related cognitive issues.
Dr. Husk holds a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with specialized training in Geriatrics and Neuropsychology. Dr. Husk has been in private practice since 2018.
Dr. Husk served as Faculty Neuropsychologist at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center /Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ from 2008-2018 where she performed neuropsychological evaluations, psychotherapy, and cognitive retraining for patients who sustained a traumatic brain injury, stroke, tumor, or other neurological injury/disease at the Barrow's Center for Transitional NeuroRehabilitation. Dr. Husk served as a Neuropsychologist at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH from 2005-2008.
Dr. Husk completed her Post-Doctoral Residency in Geriatrics and Neuropsychology at the Boston Consortium, Boston VA Hospital. Her Pre-doctoral Internship was completed at the Malcolm Randall VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL, also in Geriatrics and Neuropsychology.
Dr. Husk is adjunct faculty for Grand Canyon University in their Ph.D. program and at Logan University Online in their Doctorate of Health Professions in Education program.

Serena Sabbara is a graduate of Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, earning dual Bachelor of Science degrees in psychology and neuroscience. She also completed a minor in Spanish Linguistics, fueling her commitment to language development and her passion for fostering diversity and accessibility within the social sciences. Serena’s honors thesis explored sexual risk-taking and posttraumatic cognitions among survivors of military sexual assault, reflecting her keen research interests and dedication to supporting vulnerable communities.
Serena brings extensive experience working with children, having served as a lead tutor for America Reads, where she provided individualized tutoring to students from Title I schools.
Since graduating in 2024, Serena has worked as a psychometrist for over a year and a half, conducting comprehensive assessments for autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and screening for memory loss and dementia. Under the supervision of licensed psychologists, she has developed expertise in administering a wide array of neuropsychological evaluations, hand-scoring tests with precision, preparing detailed behavioral observations, and implementing effective behavior management strategies with diverse populations including nonverbal children, adolescents, and adults experiencing memory impairment.
Looking ahead, Serena plans to pursue a Ph.D. in neuroscience, with a particular interest in how trauma affects language development in young children’s brains. She is dedicated to maintaining high ethical standards and believes neuropsychological assessment is a specialized practice requiring thorough training and professionalism.

Mason Stewart-McLellan is a doctoral practicum trainee who is working toward his degree in clinical psychology. Mason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Gender Studies from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and is currently in his 2nd year of the Doctoral Program in Psychology (Psy.D.) at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
At Mountainview Clinical Psychology, Mason assists in the administration of neuropsychological tests under the supervision of Dr. Husk.
During and before graduate training, Mason has had the opportunity to work with many adult populations in VA mental health, outpatient group and individual psychotherapy, and neuropsychological assessment. Mason is interested in the link between the brain and behavior and believes that assessment is an essential part of good clinical practice. Mason is looking forward to his continued training in psychology and hopes to work with a diverse and varied adult population.
